Auto- en motorsportwereld staat uitgebreid stil bij Internationale Vrouwendag

De auto- en motorsportwereld wordt overwegend gedomineerd door mannen, maar dat wil uiteraard niet zeggen dat er voor vrouwen geen plaats is. Integendeel, in de gehele auto- en motorsportwereld werden vrouwen vandaag in het zonnetje gezet en werden er duidelijke statements afgegeven. Ook vrouwen kunnen het gewoon maken in dit wereldje. Zo schittert Beitske Visser samen met haar vrouwelijke W Series-collega's in een inspirerende video gemaakt door de raceklasse voor vrouwen, de W Series, waarin duidelijk wordt gemaakt dat de industrie aan het veranderen is en er ook veel vrouwelijk talent rondloopt.

Uiteraard werd er ook buiten de W Series stil gestaan bij alle vrouwen die niet alleen op, maar ook naast de baan schitteren. Vele Formule 1-teams zetten hun vrouwelijke personeel deze dag nog meer dan normaal in de schijnwerpers!
